The Character Creator allows players to create and customize their own characters with pre-made clothing and facial features. There are two versions of the feature: the free version and the Character Creator Upgrade (paid).
Where to find it[]
The feature can be accessed in three ways: (1) tap the blue button on the upper right screen at the areas, (2) tap the same button on the bottom left screen in the Characters tab, or (3) the button below a video autoplaying inside the Creator's Campus.
The Character Creator can also be found at the bottom left below the character once the Characters Tab has been opened

Creation[]

Every creation generates a base preset. There is a button next to the current character that generates a random character. Categories for customization are at the bottom part of the screen, More categories can be found by simply tapping any of the main categories.
There are options for customization, including sliders for color and options for hairstyles and clothing. When an update is released, hairstyles, clothinsg and facial features, whether they feature from a character of a location or not, are updated in the Character Creator.
Before exiting the feature, a reset button pops below the character. Pressing and holding it removes that character, and leaves an empty slot.

Notes[]
- Categories are arranged by color
- Yellow for character height, skin tone and prosthetics
- Cyan for hair, eyes, nose, eyebrows, mouth and face markings
- Red for Clothing or outfits, headwear and eyewear
- Prosthetics from either side (left or right) can be combined together.
- Categories marked by (*) brings up subcategories
- Categories and subcategories marked by (**) brings up another smaller category to change color
- Colors can be selected by choosing premade colors and dragging the slider below the chosen premade color to choose a similar color.
Character Creator Upgrade[]
The paid version of the Character Creator features most of the options from the characters from paid locations outside of Bop City, even if any of these locations were not purchased.
Other Items[]
There are items that are not present in the free or paid version of the Character but used in certain characters and hide in certain locations. Often are piercings, tattoos, and facial features.

Themed Items[]
The free version of the Character Creator offers free themed items that were brought in certain updates.
Romantic Beach House[]
On the same update with the Designer Pack, a set of hairstyles, clothing and accessories were released based on the designs, similar to weddings in tropical climate and in beachsides. The clothes were white with accents of pastel pinks, purples and greens and sometimes gold, motifs of tropical flowers and seashells, except one outfit which was coral pink, asymmetrical and wrapped with transparent ribbons.
Hair[]
Two hairstyles were included. The first an updo wrapped with braids along the bun and the head, and second a fluffy bob with bangs sweeped sideways.

90s' Nostalgia[]
These includes hairstyle, clothing and accessories inspired by the 90's streetwear, with bright colors subdued by blacks and white and graffiti culture.
Hairstyles[]
Two hairstyles were included in the update. The first is an updo with two buns and blonde fringes along the face and second, long dreads with beads.

Nine outfits, three headwears and one head accessory were released in the update.

Other updates[]
On November 28 of 2023, the Character Creator recieved inclusive options. Under the Prosthetics section, two Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems for the upper body and two prosthetic limbs for the lower body are added
- Light green CGM system for the right arm
- Light purple CGM system for the left arm
- Purple-white transfemoral prosthetic limb for the right leg
- Yellow transfemoral prosthetic limb for the left leg
Style Packs[]
Style Packs are paid packs featuring hairstyles, facial detail, outfits for different models and accessories of the corresponding theme. Once any of the Style Packs was purchased, items from the pack can be accessed in the Character Creator. The first Style Pack released was the Y2K Ready Style Pack, released on August 30, 2023. Some Style Packs are part of bundles, such as the Little Paws Style Pack and the Cozy Coastal Style Pack.
