Overview[]
Transition Screens refer to non-interactive segments that transitions between main features in Toca Boca World . They appear between the World Map and locations or Home Designer Building but also at the Start Screen, Shop, Toca Boca MIX, and the Character Creator.
Transition screens appear in four colors: red, green, yellow and blue, and are randomized.
Types[]
Loading screens[]
Are screens with the text "Loading" that appears when entering a location and features such as the Shop, Toca Boca MIX, and the Character Creator. Loading screens also appear after tapping the play button of the Start Screen. The same type of loading screen is used, following the introductory cutscene when the game is launched.
Saving Screens[]
Are screens with the text "Saving" when exiting that appear when exiting a location and other features. The saving screen follows when tapping the exit button at the left corner.
Trivia[]
- Before the 2021 update, the screens feature the four titular characters who represent the color of each screen, which feature:
- At the bottom of each of the loading screens, there were trails of items that represent the personality and interests of the characters
- This even appeared before Toca Life Stories aired.
- Above includes combinations of items or food to create a product. These are called Recipes. These recipes were randomized in the loading screens
- On Summer 2022,[citation needed] changes were applied to the loading screens. The timer on the right part replaced the characters and the trail of items.
- Updates released on late 2020 onward were reported that loading screens kicked players out of the game. [citation needed]
